Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Studio Apartment Manager to oversee the operations and management of our studio apartment complex. The Studio Apartment Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the property, addressing tenant needs, maintaining occupancy rates. And ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage tenant inquiries, applications, and lease agreements.
- Conduct thorough tenant screening and background checks.
- Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, and inspections.
- Respond promptly and effectively to tenant complaints, requests, and maintenance issues.
- Coordinate and oversee routine maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
- Monitor and enforce lease agreements, policies, and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of rental payments, expenses, and maintenance activities.
- Market and promote the studio apartment complex to attract and retain tenants.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Address any safety or security concerns promptly and appropriately.
- Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and maintenance staff to ensure timely and cost-effective property upkeep.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants and handle conflict resolution when necessary.
- Stay updated on local rental market trends, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED required; bachelor’s degree in property management, real estate, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in property management or a similar role.
- Knowledge of local landlord-tenant laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and inspect the property for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Manual dexterity to operate maintenance tools and equipment.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
