Job Summary:

The Studio Apartment Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a studio apartment complex. This includes managing tenant relations, overseeing maintenance and repairs. Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. And managing the budget and financial operations of the complex.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage tenant relations, including responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and enforcing lease agreements.
  • Oversee maintenance and repairs, including coordinating with contractors and vendors, scheduling routine maintenance, and addressing emergency repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including safety and health codes, fair housing laws, and building codes.
  • Manage the budget and financial operations of the complex, including collecting rent payments, paying bills, and preparing financial reports.
  • Coordinate move-ins and move-outs, including preparing units for new tenants, conducting inspections, and processing security deposits.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and streamline operations.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all operations and transactions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in property management, preferably in a multi-family or studio apartment setting.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including fair housing laws, building codes, and safety and health codes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with budgeting and financial management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software.

Physical Requirements:
